GRAB Obtain Business Competition Compliance Certification

The Business Competition Supervisory Commission ( KPPU ) awarded a Certificate of Determination of the Business Competition Compliance Program to PT Grab Teknologi Indonesia or Grab. The leading superapp in Southeast Asia is the first technology company in Indonesia to receive this certification from the KPPU. 

“We at Grab will definitely continue to maintain healthy competition. This achievement is clear evidence of our company’s commitment to implementing the principles of healthy and conducive business competition,” said Grab Indonesia Country Managing Director Neneng Goenadi while attending a press conference in Central Jakarta, Monday, March 25 2024.

Neneng explained that Grab Indonesia management has regularly held various initiatives since 2021. One of the steps taken is to participate in executive forums to increase understanding regarding applicable business competition regulations and principles. 

Furthermore, Neneng also said that Grab Indonesia had held talk shows and training with local MSME players and invited KPPU to provide training on compliance with healthy business competition which was attended by company employees. 

KPPU Deputy Chair Aru Armando stated his commitment to implementing the principles of healthy business competition in industry, making Grab the first technology company to receive recognition for this program.
